We are long-time dog owners; in fact this is the first time we have been pet-less, since our golden retriever (age 15) died last November. We have had labs, a German Shepard, a Westie, and two golden retrievers over the years. Now we are empty-nesters and have read about the wonderful qualities of the standard poodle. We thinkk it would be a good match.
